Fulcrum
Printed at the Architectural Association each week on Bedford Press' Risograph, Fulcrum explores a diverse range of topics (both architectural and otherwise) through a two-column dialectic. It aims to promote young writers, while providing articles by some of the world's leading architects, artists, scientists and economists.
Fulcrum explores the potential of print-media in the 21st century, and reaffirms its (changing) value — we only print 500 physical copies, but have several thousand weekly readers online from around the world.
Past issues have featured authors such as Patrik Schumacher, Pier Vittorio Aureli, Greg Lynn, Alejandro Zaera-Polo, Thomas Demand, Charles Jencks, Cynthia Davidson & Mark Cousins.
It was founded in January 2011 and is designed and edited by Jack Self and Graham Baldwin.
